It’s all planned in your head.

But you forgot to save some

thought for troubles.

Getting to the airport and handing your luggage over the counter, the staff tells you your bags are overweight and that you have to pay $70. Crap! Your humor goes down 3 notches.

On the plane and ready to have a good nap, there is so much turbulence that you can only think if you are going to make it alive—no sleep will be necessary because you are dying nervous—down 5 notches. When you land, you have to wait for your luggage and it got lost in the middle of a connection. No underwear in your carry-on.

You are now super pissed.

Now in your hotel, you think back and see what went wrong. It was all perfectly planned in your head. But you forgot to expect the accidentals along the way.The next day you have the time of your life at Disney World and those memories will stay with you forever.

10 years from that day…

You are really glad that you made the trip and that everything went just fine although 10 years ago you went through what it seemed like hell. You barely remember the troubles but only good memories.

Music is something like that.

Practicing feels like an eternity sometimes. Concerts, lessons and schedules don’t go as planned.

Wait, have patience, believe that your time will come. You’ll find a good job. You will make an impact.

Persist until you bleed—otherwise it’s not hurting enough.

Think about what you’ll get in the future. It’s not always about the present. In fact, I would say it’s always about the future.
